Another lovely large park, with a gentle slope, large shade trees and plenty of room for dogs to run. There’s a historic rockery garden and views to the southwest.
There are seats, picnic tables, lights, accessible toilets, bitumen paths, depression-era stonework and a custom-designed, daisy-themed playground best-suited to younger children.
There is a page on North Sydney’s website at https://www.northsydney.nsw.gov.au/Recreation_Facilities/Parks_Reserves/Dogs_in_Parks_Reserves_and_Playgrounds mentioning that dogs are allowed – with restrictions, but no details on those restrictions.
The general dog page at North Sydney is at https://www.northsydney.nsw.gov.au/Recreation_Facilities/Parks_Reserves/Dogs_in_Parks_Reserves_and_Playgrounds, so I assume those restrictions are related to being under control, away from food and playgrounds.
